Disturbia Parody - MJ Style

As with all my parodies it will help if you have the original playing in the background to help you with the tune

The Original is 'Rihannas Disturbia'

What's wrong akhi?
Why do I feel like this?
I'm going crazy now

No tawheed, in the head, can't even get hidayah
Nothing read, nothing shared, about jahanum fire
Theres no scarf, on her head, not even black abbaya
Feels like I'm going insane, yeah

It's belief in the fact that its all jadoo
Its the tree on the hill that you turn to
A disease of the mind, it can control you
He Just Buried his Daughter

take off your blinkers now, Read in the name of Your Lord
Time to question how, we preach of no discord
Better think twice, your train of thought will be altered
There are signs for those who ponder

Your lost in Jahiliya, it's like the darkness is light
Jahiliya, always putting up a fight
Jahiliya, time to set yourself right
Jahiliya, Jahiliya

* Jahiliya refers to the time of ignorance that preceded Islam.

Concerning Doubts

Reading Istikharah scares me sometimes.

I want to have faith. But I also want to have my way. These two seem to be mutually exclusive sometimes.

I want to have doubts, because doubt itself is a sign. A little doubt tells me that I need to work harder.

I usually read istikharah when I sit for itikaf. I'm at my most peaceful and content then. When I'm sitting alone in the musjid after the two old guys have gone to sleep.

The problem with istikharah (or rather my experiences with it) is that when I get a sign I tend to obsess a little and I convince myself that that is the way forward. I lose all rational thought. But then again - I dont read when the problem is rational anyway.

I dont feel like publishing this

Concerning Bob Marley

Last year I did a parody blog and re imagined what Yusuf Islams songs would sound like after he converted to Islam. Today I'l do the same with Bob Marleys stuff. If it does sound a bit weird its because I have kept the original tune. So basically you should sing this like a Rasta. Ya Man, it all be Aiiry

Buffalo Soldier

Bukhari Sharief, Hadith masta:
There was a Bukhari Sharief in the heart of Arabia,
Coming from Bukhara, brought to Medinah,
Fighting for the sunnah, fighting gainst the biddah.

I mean it, when I analyze the chain -
To me it makes a lot of sense:
How the Hadith Masta wrote the Bukhari Sharief,
Coming from Bukhara, brought to Medinah,
Fighting for the sunnah, fighting gainst the biddah.

No, Women, no Cry

No, Nikkah, no pie;
No, Nikkah, no pie;
No, Nikkah, no pie;
No, Nikkah, no pie;

Said - said - said: I remember when we used to pray
In the main hall in Orient school,
Oba - obaserving the hijabis
As they would mingle with the ghair mahrams from grade 12.4.
Good intentions we had, oh, good intentions weve lost
Along the way.
If you want to fornicate, you can forget jannah;
So no more zinnah, I seh.

Waiting in Vain

I dont wanna wait in vain for Shawal;
I dont wanna wait in vain for Shawal.
From the very first time I stood up in taraweeh
My hunger was put on hold.
But I know, now, that 29 days have gone,
But the night sky is so fine:
So get Cape Town dialling on the phone,
cause I cant see this alone.
So New moon take my heed;
I wanna know if tomorrow is Eid.
I dont wanna wait in vain for Shawal;
I dont wanna wait in vain for Shawal.

Concerning Sakinah

He it is Who sent down As-Sakinah (calmness and tranquillity) into the hearts of the believers, that they may grow more in Faith along with their (present) Faith. And to Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise.. Surah Al- Fath Ayat 4.

I like Muhsin Khans Translation best.

Im going to have ice cream today :D

Yeah - that was arb. Anyway - I gave blood yesterday. This is my tenth year that im donating. I really do love giving blood - not so much for knowing that i'm helping people. I do it for the biscuits and juice. Also - because I have the rarest blood type in the world (AB negative) the 'blood people' treat me like royalty (thats two lollipops for you Mr Khan) I figure its because they fetch a higher price for my blood. Its great to know that im special that way - one in a hundred people have my blood type..which pretty much means im screwed if I need blood.

Do gay people fight for the right to give blood? Because from what ive seen (in the questionnaire thingy) is that 'HomoGlobin' (yeah I just coined that) is excluded. Weighed myself before giving blood - I put on like seven kilos. Must be all that Scooters ive been eating lately.

How did I go from Sakinah to this? I dont know. I have a habit of starting at one place and ending at another.

Anyone else think that the raj is a total joke for blaming the IPL for his lack of votes? See what I did there - I didnt even capitalise his name. truth be told - I was going to vote for him, but I decided to waste my vote on the Al Jamah party instead. I still have the ink stain. Mj doesnt use manicure tools. Only problem is, that it looks like a small bird shat on my thumb nail. I like how the ink mark is moving up slowly as my nail grows. Its almost half way up. Which means my thumb nails grow like Sabretooths.

Nasheeds make me romantic and cloaks drive me wild. Not lustful romantic... but Mohabbat romantic - the sweet type. But I do mean wild in the same way youre thinking though.

W.I.L.D!

I'm loving Wolverine on the Xbox. Its such a fun game. I bought Motorstorm Pacific Rift for my PS3 today. Was a bit of an impulse buy. The Xbox is still my favourite console in the current generation.

all Hail Microsoft. for giving us Hotmail addresses when we were young.

Hail.
I decided I like cats. I like Hamsters, but I like cats too. But I love licorice the best from the three. I can never get tired of eating licorice. Or Gherkins.

Finally - some trivia for you guys.If you watched the Wolverine movie you probably noticed the sticker on the old couples back window - 'Not all those who wander are lost.' Sounds familiar hey - Aragorn says it in the Lord of The Rings :D I guess they used it because that scene was filmed in New Zealand. It was a cool moment.

I might be doing an M.C gig in a few weeks. Watch this space.

My Parents Anniversary was yesterday. Forty Years. Dam thats a long time.

This blog has no flow whatsoever. Which makes it all the more special to me :)

My mum just buzzed me on the intercom. She cant sleep so she wants to have tea. Let me run.

Wishing you guys Sakinah.

OK, So it turns out I'm Dead

Tonight we shot the first Werewolf attack scene. I was originally scripted to survive the attack but thats a bit implausible (assuming that an Indian werewolf is though) i like this look though - Ive got a Bill Weasley thing going on. Now to find that Fleur :D
