And even if you do see it, it&#39;s hard to break away from the attachment that grows in a person&#39;s heart - the attachment to these forms of &#39;entertainment&#39; and &#39;relaxation&#39;.<br /><br />Moderation in those things are fine - but the reality is that the world we live in is pushing us to be consumers - to consume more and more, including movies and sport...and so those things take on idolatrous proportions in our lives.<br /><br />On a somewhat related note, though, I thought it very cool in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, at the end, when the Spanish came in and destroyed the temple, claiming that only God has power to give eternal life (or something along those lines...i don&#39;t remember the exact line).<br /><br />Twaas like a Muslim moment in that movie; and perhaps with a different audience, there would have been a loud takbeer ;)dreamlifehttp://dreamlife.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
